My account shows a lot of subscription licenses. Why not just one?
Here’s how the the Kilohearts subscriptions work:
1. Your monthly fee gets paid (either because you just started the subscription, or it automatically renewed)
2. The successful payment triggers the creation of a new subscription license being added to your account. This license is valid for 35 days to allow for some delays in renewal without loss of service.
3. The new license gets synched to any computers where your account is authenticated in the Kilohearts installer.
4. As soon as a monthly license expires, any others that have been synced and are not expired will take it’s place.
The reason for this system design has a lot to do with customers that require a fully offline workflow. With this method they can manually enter each monthly license on their offline machine, while users who have internet access don’t have to mind any of this. It’s fully automatic.
The reason we keep all those expired licenses around is purely for bookkeeping. You can just ignore them.
