Freeform Distortion
Wikipedia says:
"The sound produced by digital waveshapers tends to be harsh and unattractive, because of problems with aliasing"
Well. They clearly never listened to Kilohearts Shaper. A little bit of black magic trickery and any aliasing is kept to a minimum. Get all your distortion needs met with your own custom distortion shapes, or choose any shape from the included factory library.

A visualization of the remapping of the audio.
Remap selector
Selects a remap from the Remaps browser. Click the popup button to open the big editor.
Drive knob
The drive setting will boost the input signal, causing a heavier distortion.
DC Filter
Enables a DC filter that fixes any DC offset introduced by the distortion.
Mix
The dry/wet mix of this effect. A lower value will let some of the unmodified signal through.
Overflow modes
Select what happens beyond the edges of the wave shape curve. Repeat the wave, hold the edge value, or repeat with mirroring.
